On December 1st, the 2021 high-level foreign experts Qiluhang Shandong Province Carbon Peak, Carbon Neutral International High-end Technology Seminar was held in Jinan. Yang Xian, director of the International Cooperation Office, attended the meeting on behalf of the school (college).
This seminar was organized by Shandong International Science and Technology Cooperation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community under the guidance of Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology and led by Shandong Expressway Group. Co-organized by Innovation Research Institute and other units. The meeting is carried out through a combination of online and offline methods. As one of the sub-venues of the conference, the Institute of Ecology of our school (college) organized relevant researchers and students to participate in the conference online.
At the meeting, the Institute of Automation of our school (academy) and the Innovation Research Institute of Shandong Expressway Group signed agreements with Uzbekistan's talents in the dual carbon field and Israel's technology transfer company Shah May Technology Transfer.
The guests first unveiled the Shandong International Science and Technology Cooperation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community (Israel) Offshore Innovation Incubation Base and the Shandong International Science and Technology Cooperation, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community (Serbia) Offshore Innovation Incubation Base.
Subsequently, as one of the core member units of Shandong International Science and Technology Cooperation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community, Yang Hengjian, on behalf of our school (academy) and representatives of other eleven community member units, took the stage to initiate the establishment of the Shandong Double Carbon Technology Innovation Cooperation Alliance, and released the Shandong Double Carbon Technology Innovation Cooperation Alliance. The Jinan Proposal of the Carbon Technology Innovation Cooperation Alliance calls for deepening international scientific and technological innovation cooperation in the dual-carbon field, with the help of the alliance platform resources, collaborative innovation, joint construction and sharing, and positive contributions to the construction of a beautiful China and the protection of the earth's homeland.
In the academic exchange session, 5 foreign experts from our school (academy): Professor Gavriko Yevgeny, Larisa Gruba, Professor of Ukrainian National Technical University, Vinokurov A Vlaky, Academician of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Mir, Professor Hiroki Tanigawa from the School of Environment at Nagoya University, Japan, and Akio Onishi, Professor at Yokohama University, gave keynote speeches on double carbon online, analyzing low-carbon development in combination with themes such as epidemic and greenhouse gases. Xu Chongqing, director of the Institute of Ecology of our school (college), gave an academic report entitled Actively respond to carbon peaks, carbon neutrality, and promote the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of Shandong at the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, a total of more than 50 demand lists for high-end equipment, new energy and new materials, medical care and health care, new generation information technology, and modern marine industries were announced.
This conference effectively promoted the implementation of carbon peaking, carbon neutralization related technologies, management, talents, international scientific and technological cooperation, etc., and built a good platform for the discussion and exchange of dual carbon technology in our province.

The Shandong International Science and Technology Cooperation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community was led by Shandong Expressway Group and was officially approved for establishment in September 2021. Our unit is one of the important core member units of the community. Based on the principle of openness, sharing, mutual benefit and win-win, the community will gather high-end innovation elements in Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America, give full play to the leading role of the talent chain, introduce or break through key core technologies, and build a comprehensive ecosystem for international scientific and technological cooperation.
